TrashMagic for MAC OS X
I had accidentally deleted my office files. The same I found back in Recycle bin. But what in case if someone clears up the recycle bin and I loose my data. I had found TrashMagic as a solution for the same. But still I have some doubts on this tool. How to use it and what features does this software offers to use. Is it optimum for recovering the deleted files from the computer.

Re: TrashMagic for MAC OS X
TrashMagic automatically saves the contents of the Recycle Bin, and you can recover files deleted by mistake when you empty the Recycle Bin, even several days after their deletion. It contains a protection engine that runs continuously and copy the files you've trashed in a specific cache. At any time, even days or weeks (depending on settings) after emptying the Trash, you can retrieve files protected by TrashMagic.

Indeed, TrashMagic allows you to recover files deleted by mistake and it must be admitted that this software can be very convenient. TrashMagic continuously scans the Recycle Bin and automatically performs a copy of all items placed in the trash. You set your own shelf data in this copy. You can easily recover your delete file by it. It is easy to use also.

Re: TrashMagic for MAC OS X
Once downloaded the application, drag and drop the folder for your version of OS X in your Applications folder. You will find the application TrashMagic. Launch it. Protection can be enabled or disabled at any time. When protection is enabled, all files placed in the Trash are automatically copied to a cache and can therefore be retrieved at any time.

Re: TrashMagic for MAC OS X
The cache TrashMagic will swell to as and when you will save files to the Trash. It should, however, that this cache takes all available space on your partition / hard drive. Enter here the minimum free space that you want to keep (this of course depends on the size of your hard disk / partition) and caching TrashMagic can not open this space reserved.

Re: TrashMagic for MAC OS X
The recovery tab lists the files recoverable. You can change your way this display (element, by date, size, depending on the time and you have even a search box). Select one or several elements of this list, simply click on the button Recover. A dialog box asks you to which folder (location) this or these files will then be recovered. You can also drag and drop an element of that list to the Office.
