    How to Burn a DVD on a Mac?

    Hi there, I am here to get the solution of one of my problem that i am unable to fix. I have just shifted to the Mac operating system as i was using the Windows operating system before. In the Windows the burning of the DVD is easy and there are lots of the tools available for it. But in the Mac i have no idea how to Burn a DVD on a Mac. So if you have the knowledge about the same then please help me for that. Thank you

    This can be done only if you have the proper detail of the Mac that which version of the same you are using. And also make sure that you have the compatible driver to accept the DVD. To chekc the version of the Mac yo have to follow the step that i am giving you for the same then let me know the same so that i can help you. Click on the Apple icon and go to the about this Mac. Now a window will open with the information about the same. Click on the more info and then to check the detail given there that is CD-W and DVD-W. That it

    I have gone through the steps that you have ask me to perform to check the version of the Mac so that it will be easy for you to recognize the problem of mine and give me the proper solution of the same. And the detail about the system i have got is Mac OS X 10.6.2 with the option of the CD and DVD writer. So now help me

    If you are using this version of the Mac then this would be the easier for you to create the DVD on the same. First create a Folder on the Desktop. On the empty area of the Desktop right click and from the quick menu select the click on the New Burn Folder. After that add the files that you want to add in the DVD to this folder. You can add by dragging the same on to it. Now double click on the folder to open it and after that look for the gear type icon. This will display a menu , select the Burn your folder name. Thats it now it will burn the DVD, but before all these insert the DVD in drive.

    Thanks a lot for all your help that you have been given me regarding the use of the DVD burning on the Mac operating system that will be helpful for me to burn the DVD. I have also come to know that there are third party software are available to burn the DVD. Is there any tools that will perform like the Nero in the Windows. If yes then let me know the same.
