    Folders disappear in Outlook Express

    Good evening,

I just opened Outlook Express to see my messages and I perceive that the files that I created to store different messages (eg Letters to Print, Internet identifiers, etc.) is missing ..... I did a system restore but still nothing ..... That's annoying because I had important mail

How do I recover folders in outloook.

    Thank you for your help

Knowing the limitations of Outlook Express, it is possible that you do not find your e-mails because beyond about 2000 messages and 1GB of storage, you go right to the corrupt *.dbx files and data loss .

Apparently your mailbox at your Internet Service Provider is full. So you have a chance to retrieve your messages on your ISP's webmail, if indeed what you get in OE.

I would also suggest to clean, otherwise you will never get notifications response.

And for info, a system restore, does never lost files, it puts the system in the state at the point of creation, but do not remove or does not return data.

If you go into the C: drive, then Documents and Settings
Then record your session name, then Local Settings folder then Application Data folder -> Then Identities foldermade here is what you see two cases of type (C7EB3B73-15CD-485 or simply just one?

Download and install utility Get Accurate Outlook Express Mail Expert in your computer. Accurate Outlook Express Mail Expert will automatically scan and identify the current file storage and Outlook Express display them on the left panel as well as your Outlook Express. If the corrupted Outlook Express.Dbx file is stored in the folder that is not the current folder to store Outlook Express, you must specify its location in the program by clicking the Open Archive button on the toolbar.
