How to install Indigo Render in linux?

    Hello,
After consulting all the tutorials on Indigo Render, I realized that there are no good tutorials for Indigo to install on Ubuntu 9.04 (Linux). I found fragments of tutorials, but this does not work. Is there a competent in the field to help me install Indigo Render? Best regards.

    Hello
Could you clarify which version of Indigo you trying to use. Memo Indigo has been little commercial version now. Have you tested LuxRender his twin brother and freedom in this filing? I think you should really go for this software, it has almost all the capabilities as Indigo, if you wish you can just try it out.

    Hello,
Versions of Indigo that I use may be the V1.0.9 or 1.1.18 (Indigo + Blendigo). I am familiar with commercial versions. Luxrender, I am tempted it, but I think Indigo is better than that. For info OS Windows XP is blender attracted me to Ubuntu 9.04 64bits. Indigo is my mascot and he will force me to work in dual boot, but otherwise Jaunty Jackalope is really a friendly face these daunting predecessors. I wonder if it would not blendigo.zip to extract IndigoWrapper and changed his address. . . ? (I find the zip versions) because it was under xp executables (. Exe) that I compiled with wine, but I appreciate very little tinkering and it was no longer operational.

    Hello,
For the comparison between Lux and Indigo, a Confirmation superiority Indigo in terms of quality, I think the treatment of shadows by the latter is much better. Performance Level Indigo is also immediately above. Lux still lacks maturity, however, it is possible to obtain very good results with a little patience, project forward. For installation sorry but it is tinkering finally worth extracting archive and copy / paste. Let us start with 1.1.18. I suppose you've recovered the archive with the binary and that of blendigo ... (binaries 1.1.18 - blendigo 1.1.18)
1 - You Indigo example decompresses the root of your home. You will therefore have a file: / home / "Mike610"/ indigo_v1.1.18.
2 - You extract blendigo_v1118.py zip blendigo_v1118.zip and you copy the file . / blender / scripts / that this is at the root of your home: / home / "Mike610"/ .blender / scripts /
3 - You start Blender. You go into the menu renderYou Launches blendigo 1.1.18 (. igs). As this is the first time you launch the script, a small menu asking you to locate the binary Indigo so you show him going into the folder: / home / "Mike610"/ indigo_v1.1.18 / and you select. You can later change this setting in the options of Blendigo system.

    Hello,
I followed your instructions literally, everything happens as you described, except that "when you run the command" EXPORT scene, "it nothing happens. Whether the 64-bit version and 32. I retrieve the files in the links that you failed me. Just in case. I have no intention to let me tame by Boolean equations, then you'll see a few tutorials and trade binary I'll find the unknown that will solve the differential equation. All this finally mode resolutions and on the rear wheel please. But your instructions helped me to make a huge step forward for me comforting to access and adhere completely to Linux and to invite him round the table, leaving only a hazy memory to wind.
