    Windows Remote Desktop Issue

Does anyone know of a way, or a program/utility, which can query servers (Windows 2003) in a domain, and return which machines have either active or disconnected remote desktop sessions - either console sessions or virtual sessions. Logging into each machine and going to terminal services manager is not a good option. I recall that there are some terminal service command line options which can be run, but I think those focus on a single machine at a time.

Basically, I am not having more knowledge about the Networking but If I am not wrong then you wanted to know the utility for the DNS server diagnosis. Then you can make use of the NSLOOKUP. But for using this particular software you also need to have the knowledge about the networking. You can able to get more information about in from internet.

If the remote computer is running Windows XP operating system, the complete contents of the Desktop are always displayed. Start the program you want to use by double-clicking its icon on the Desktop or using the Start menu. You should check the properties for the client connection to ensure that the program path and file name are correct. Also, confirm that the program exists in this location on the server. For you kind information, a low bandwidth connection can cause slow Remote Desktop performance.

    Re: Windows Remote Desktop Issue

    Hi,
I want to log an RDP problem, is this the right place?

Prob description: I connect to my work pc via rdp, I open an excel spreadsheet that contains activex buttons. After a while of moving around sheets and filling in data etc. the buttons start to change size and font until eventually they are unusable.

    Has anyone seen this before.

I use IE, RDP from an xp pc to another xp pc.

Any thoughts would be most welcome.
