Problems with Sata in Windows 7

Okay I installed Windows 7 and then don't know what happened but my slave drive which is sata doesn't show up. I checked into BIOS and it shows the Drive available without any problem. But when I try to enable it, it doesn't let me and says something about "NCQ not supported". Before windows 7 I was using Vista and both the drives were working fine. But don't know what went wrong, after installing win 7 my sata has gone bad. Please help.

Okay so the drive on which you have windows 7 installed is it connected properly. And is it connected through Sata or Pata cable.? If it is connected through Sata then you must be missing with the SATA drivers for your controller. So try to go on your motherboard manufacturers website and download the required drivers. That should help you.

The cable I am using is SATA and the drivers are also installed properly. I still went on the motherboard manufacturers website and downloaded the latest version and installed it. But still no go. It is still not working out. I guess there is some mistake in the BIOS because it gave me some NCQ error. Any more suggestions please.

NCQ or rather "Native Command Queue" is a feature of the hard drive from what I can tell. To enable it might require a special drivers or software
    from the hard drive manufacturer.
Check this link from Microsoft. It might help you.
