Opera 10 issues with windows 7

Hi. This is a problem that am facing after upgrading my system to Windows 7 from Windows vista. I use Opera 10 as my web browser and the problem is that I am not able to store the login id and password to some of the sites that I normally visit. It asks again and again the user ID's and password when I try to login to the account. It didn't use to before while I was using Windows Vista. Please help me out by letting me know the solution to this issue.

Your problem basically refers to the accessing feature offered by the browser. As you have upgraded your operating system The changes does takes place to the installed software as well. You need to make the settings offered by the browser when you login to the account of any of the sites. It shows a popup that is to remember the password and id on this system always. Allow it to do. You may not get the problem henceforth. Then you would not have to re-enter the password and ID whenever you login to such sites.

A firewall might have been blocking this . Due to which you are not able to access to the sites without entering the password and ID. Check out for the firewall issues. This does happen. As windows 7 has more basic feature advance with more security it may not allow you to access to sites directly. the popup must have been blocked for security reasons. This is the reason you are having login issues with opera 10 in windows 7.

There can be a possibility with the add-ins that has been enabled in opera 10. Check out the extra add-ins in opera 10 that you might have accidentally enabled. Disable those add-ins which are the reason for security and do not allow direct access to such sites. Also check whether the Internet zone security settings has been set to default. This will make the browser to store and remember the ID's and password which would not ask you later to re-enter.
