Your HP laptop is having problem with the Internet Explorer 7. It is automatically closed after starting by the Windows Operating System. This problem arises by the virus and malware. Your Computer system is infected by the Viruses and some other kinds of infections. This viruses are creating the problem in the running process of the IE7. That is why your Internet Explorer is not working. Remove viruses from your computer using anti-virus tool. You can download AVG antivirus from here if you dont have any antivius installed in your system.

If scanning and removal of viruses and malwares does not fixes this problem then your internet browser which is Internet Explorer 7 is corrupted. Then you can fix this problem by only one method. Reinstalling the Internet Explorer 7 will fix this problem. Reinstall the software and Reboot your laptop. Now your IE will work fine. Make a backup of the setup file ie EXE file of Internet Explorer browser. Because this problem happens most of the time when your system gets affected by the viruses.

There is the possibility of one more reason because of which the Internet explorer is not working on your laptop. The pop-up and cookies of IE may closed/blocked. Enable the Pop-ups and cookies of the browser from the settings. You can change it by right clicking on the IE. If this not fixes the problem then delete all the history and cookies of the browser from the laptop. To do this:
1- Right click on the IE
    2- Select properties
3- Select general tab and delete all the browsing history of the system.
