I want to know which is the best disc burner for linux. For backing-up data I use CD's, When I move to other places I take all the songs and movies with me. So disc writer is must for me. So, which disc burner contains maximum features. Any advice or suggestions.

Here are some of the Disc Burner for linux based operating system
    1) Brasero - It handles rewritable media and can burn ISO, CUE, RAW and TOC image files. Brasero can write an ISO image for you to burn to the disc later. Brasero is more than a Disc Burner, it can also simulate the burning process to test your setup and settings.
    2) X-CD-Roast - it is popular for its audio CD ripping abilities. You can just drag and drop tracks into X-CD-Roast. It can also write and copy data to CDs and DVDs as well as mixed-mode and audio CDs.
    3) GnomeBaker - It can work with dual-layer DVD's and can copy data and audio CDs on the fly. GnomeBaker can write an ISO image for you to burn to the disc later. It also has the dummy write option to simulate the burning process.
    4) K3b - it burns and copies all kinds of single / multi-session DVD's and CD's. It can also encode MP3 and OGG into high quality WAV format. It can provide a great video DVD. It can rip your audio CD's. K3b's strength lies in its plugin's. For every work a dedicated tool / plugin is provided.
I like K3b the most. It has all the features via plugin's. But you can use any one of them and enjoy disc burning.
