Windows 7 Presentation & Display issue

    Hi,
Have a little problem with Windows 7. This morning after the restart, I suddenly faced a 1024x768 resolution and black bars around the window. Yesterday it was working fine with with no errors. Everything here is working except the display output. I am using Windows 7 from last month and this the first time I face this error. If we go for checking the most recent installation in my system I had just put some games. I have Radeon X1300 GPU in my system. Is this hardware responsible for the same.

Right click on the desktop and and choose properties. Here go to the Display option and see the properties. Check that proper settings are configured here. Look for Screen resolution settings. Change the settings and apply them. This happens if you shut down a game in between. The loaded graphics are not able to shut down properly and spoils the display.

Radeon X1300 is a video cards belongs to ATI Radeon family, support SM 3.0 (DirectX 9.0c). The basis of these maps using the GPU RV515, the main characteristics of which are 4 pixel pipelines, 4 texture pipeline and 2 vertex pipelines. Unlike the older in a series of solutions X1300 PRO, in this version of the chip operates at a much lower frequency - 450 MHz versus 600 MHz. Update the drivers for the same and check back again.

The graphic cards are equipped with memory type GDDR, GDDR2 or capacity from 128 MB to 512 MB. Usually memory interface card has a width of 128 bits, but there are also slower 64-bit versions. Solutions are available in Sapphire and AGP-performance. It is possible that you system does not have adequate powersupply for the graphic card. This cause the fail of output system. This can also destroy your card. Check this in your system. You powersupply must more that 440w.

Upgrade your audio drivers. Go to the official site of ATI. See the appropriate section and download the compatible drivers as per your operating system. You can also check that your monitor is proper by connecting it to the motherboard. If the output display is proper then definitely your video drivers are corrupted. Get a fresh copy for the same.

You can correct the same by your monitor settings. Your monitor has inbuilt configuration settings. The button lies on the side of your monitor. Press the same and go to resolution. The black bar on the corner states that the part of monitor is not working it is turned off. If the settings cannot do any thing then I will recommend you to connect the same to a different computer and check. It can be a hardware fault.
