Yahoo messenger won't open up

Hi,

I am facing some issue with my Yahoo messenger, everything was working fine till yesterday, but today when i open my yahoo messenger it was not getting open, so i tried to uninstall and reinstall it, but it still wont open up any more with yahoo messenger V. 8.1 it also wont start or open. Can anyone tell me what should i do ?

Try to completely remove Yahoo messenger from your computer for that click on start then go to run option and type regedit option and press enter. Over here delete all the registry which below to yahoo messenger, then go to C:\ drive and delete all the folders related to yahoo messenger, now finally remove from Add/Remove programs and download latest version of Yahoo messenger and have a check i am sure after installing Yahoo Messenger 10 you won't face any issue.

Besce as you said i have try to follow the same thing after installing Yahoo messenger 10 on my system i am able to open and use it but if i reboot my computer and try to use Yahoo messenger then it won't get open and thanks fore replying me, does anyone know any other solution.

I was also facing similar type of issue and i try out a lot over internet and was not able to get any good solution, at last when i asked my office administrator he told me that it might happen that your computer is being infected by spyware because of which my i am not able to open yahoo messenger, at the same time he told me to download and install latest version of Spy Sweeper this will remove all spyware from my computer, after installing Spy Sweeper i was able to open yahoo messenger. If you are still facing any issue then you have to reformat your computer and install a fresh copy of operating system.
