C partition required or software intercompatible

I have 2 or 3 simple questions to ask, I searched the forum but still the conversation turns on the license number of pc etc etc, nothing found safe.

My setup is simple: I have 3 partitions on my 640 GB hard disk:

C: 120 GB: Windows XP and software
D: 120 GB: Empty, even formatted (kept specially for dual boot)
E: 400 GB: Storage facilities and games

    Questions:

1: If I install Windows 7 on the D partition, I would have no problem with multiboot? (I've seen people saying it should be on the first letter of the alphabet, in this case the C part)
2: Let it work and I have my dual boot with my software installed on the C partition and my games on the E, they will be executed in Windows 7? or I'll have to reinstall all the games duplicates? (For a 10 GB game, it hurts ...)
3: If afterwards I want to delete my XP multiboot remove himself alone as well?

    1: No problems
2: No, need to install double
3: No, it will modify the boot files to remove the registration of XP

Argh point 2 is really annoying, reinstalling everything is just too boring! Even the stuff on the install disk storage will not be executed?

If it is a single software that does not require DLL/additional registry keys, it works, but for something like games, office or any applications just developed, it will reinstall. In 99% of cases, simply reinstalling the same folder avoids double the storage space required.

Really? And reinstalling in the same software folder for the two Windows operating system? Well I was really scared to corrupt my XP installation. If this is true then I would be the most happiest man in this world.
