Itunes Error : This item is being modified please try again later

Hi,

While trying to upgrade itunes from the Appstore, I get this message: This item is being modified please try again later this item is being modified. I've even turned off my Microsoft Firewall . Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything that I can do to fix the problem or is this an iTunes server issue?

I've read several comments from people who receive that message when trying to download an App, whose price has recently changed (in most cases goes from free to something else). If you have an older version, you should have no problem once you are all prices.

This problem has been occurring in some people, I found that occurs when you use the cart and from go to Edit> Preferences> Shop> Buy and download using 1-Click, you will have no problems.

I've had this problem before - when iTunes was to convert their music library over DRM-free material. I think the best solution is to reinstall the Itunes again.
