Need some information about Terragen 2

Hi,
Does anyone knows something about Terragen 2. I had heard that this tools overs a natural 3D environment and full manipulation control over it. I am looking for a tool by which I can explain and design Geographical structure of particular area. I need a advance tool for the same. The most common one is Google Earth. This tool only allows to explore the different types of Geographical regions and help to study the structure. But the features are only limited to viewing only. But as I heard about Terragen 2 is that it allow to generate 3D environment. Please post suggestions relevant to this. Thanks in advance.
