Documents opening blank in Office 2008 for Mac

Hi,, I am having a MAC operating system at home and using Office 2008 for MAC from long time. Its was working fine but now i don't know whats went wrong with it. Whenever i am trying to open any office document, it opens but only Blank. Whether it is Excel, word, or any ting, every document opens blank in Office 2008 for MAC. Is there any solution for this ? Please help me out soon.

Let me clear my doubt,, i guess whenever you double click any office document, it opens but application opens but not displaying the document. If it is correct, than the only solution is to get update your Office 2008 for MAC.

Before installing it remember to quit all Office and Messenger applications that are running.

Hey guys, thanks for sharing this topic. I am also using Office 2008 for MAC on my MAC OS X and was also facing some problems with my office some days back. So i downloaded the mentioned update but while installing, it gives me error message saying,"Microsoft Office 2008 Update" doesn’t understand the <event sysodisA>." I tried many times but just not able to install the update. Please help.

Most probably this error occurs when any Office program is running on the system while the installation process. So make sure to quit all Office for Mac applications and Microsoft Messenger for Mac before you install any Office 2008 updates. It is the only fix for this issue. Try it doing one more time.
