Edit a Chapter in DVD disc

    Hi,
I created a DVD movie disc by inserting video from 3 Video CD. I created proper menus and chapters to view as per choice. My DVD burner software showed that the burning process was successful. But when I play the same in a DVD player the movies are played continuously. First of all there is not menu at the start and the videos are not properly divided into chapters. I have to view the first entire movie to reach the second one. I want a tool by which I can edit the same DVD disc and create proper menus in them. Thanks.

Well it is not possible that you can edit the same disc again. Once the DVD is created you cannot edit it back again. The only thing you can try is copy the videos from DVD to you computer and use Nero VisionExpress for the same purpose. Nero VisionExpress has all customization option and menu wizard. It will properly segment you disc and provide a better output.

Run Nero Vision and then select make a DVD Video. Then add the video files and then click on next. You will receive a option click on Create Chapters. Then drag the slider to forward to create chapters. The first one will be created by default once you assign a second one. Then click on Add chapter. Repeat the same steps for you all videos and burn the disc.

Many DVD recorder automatically inserts marks and chapters in the disc. And for many the user have to assign particular value. Chapters are used to create a segmented disc. Each video here is need to record separately. For example if you want around 4 chapters then you use the record, stop, start button to customize it. You will have to also take care that there are variations in some format. This variation sometime cause the improper working.
