I want to download HP QuickPlay i have format my pc and don't have the installation of QuickPlay please give me the latest updated of QuickPlay to install on my windows Xp pc .

The latest one would be the QuickPlay software up to version 2.3 in windows xp and QuickPlay software versions 3.0 and newer included in notebooks shipping with Windows Vista :

Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

1. In Microsoft® Windows®, go to http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html and search for the Software and Driver Downloads page for your product. Use the instructions provided on the Web site.
2. Download and install the QuickPlay update SoftPaq using the instructions on the screen.
3. Shut down your notebook through the Microsoft Windows operating system. Refer to your notebook documentation for instructions if necessary.
4. Press the music or DVD button on your notebook to open QuickPlay.
5. Press fn+esc to access the Setup Menu.
6. Select General Settings > Update.
7. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the update. Your system will automatically shut down after the update is complete.

You get a HP QuickPlay CD when you buy a laptop there is the installation in it use the following step to install it .
First you must repartition your hard drive to install QuickPlay. QuickPlay requires a 204-MB partition. If you have to reinstall your Windows operating system, be sure to reserve 204 MB of free space during Windows installation. To repartition your hard drive.

Here's how you install it with your CD

1. Insert the HP QuickPlay CD and restart the system by pressing the power button. The CD automatically runs the installation application.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall QuickPlay.
