Unable to group objects word 2007

Hello friends,

Recently i have upgraded to Office 2007 and i have created some objects like text box, Word art and insert a image etc now i wan to have a Group Objects but over here i am not able to get this option. At the same time i have also try to find it out in help documents but it was not helpful for me. Is there a way to group objects in Word 2007?

To enable group objects word 2007 go to Home tab now you will go to the extreme right click on Editing. Over here you can select all or look for the select objects so that you can marquee what you want. You can still click on an object and add to your selection by holding down the shift key and clicking on additional objects. Hope this should work for you.

I have try to follow it but it's not working because the grouping option is not compatible in many web browser. I have also try to insert new shapes to draw a new canvas to put the two images on it too is but it's greyed out. Is there any alternative way where i can can enable group objects word 2007

To enable group objects in Word 2007 you need to follow the below steps:-

• Now insert a drawing canvas. On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click on Shapes, and then click on new Drawing Canvas.
  
• Now cut and paste the shapes or objects that you want to group onto the drawing canvas and then select the shapes or other objects that you want to group.
  
• For shapes without text, under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, click , and then click Group.
  
• Finally select the drawing canvas, and then press DELETE.
