I have the latest driver for the 6800GT (81.98) as my every the time when the screensaver starts it shows "could not create the DirectD3D device". I have WinXP with SP2 and the "up to date." When the screen shows me the message I had no DirectX wants to work and hang me. OpenGL drink work without problems.

Once I even suspect that this quartz.dll "broken" but even when I there is another "quartz.dll" the net is not a thing to help?

You say you have the latest driver but your graphics driver is almost three years old. Try a new one. Did you install 9, or did you just download it? The installation seems inconsistent as to whether or not it's actively installing, or if it's just downloading to install on the second go around.

I noticed when I move I cannot move my mouse like its a one track mind. It used to be that I could start up games just fine and then if I exited and didn't use any video applications (e.g. games, watching videos) after a few minutes I would get those errors. But now it's become more severe as I get those errors as soon as my computer is turned on.

I get the same problems.I could start up games just fine and then if I exited and didn't use any video applications and therefor I reinstalled counter strike source and nothing changed. everytime I move I cant look around but when i stop i can shoot and right click look around. this is one weird problem, I also updated my direct x and nothing. All I did was to make sure all the drivers were up to date and restarted my computer. I have no idea but to maybe reinstall windows and i really don't want to do that and sorry if this is just one sentence i am getting frustrated.
