    star Decrease tooltip/infotip delay?

    hii...

It's similar to MenuShowDelay; on the start menu, if i hover my mouse through the list of 'All Programs', it appears instantly with no delay.

How do i decrease the tooltip/infotip delay when my mouse hovers over a file?. . Is there a registry tweak for this?

Here's a pic of what im talking about:

    • type ( regedit )
    • press f3 (find)
    • type ( menushowdelay )
    • double click on it ( MenuShowDelay )
    • chang the Value Data from " 400 " to " 0 "

In order to get rid of the above issue, you need to click on My Computer, then right click and on it and you need to select properties. Then you need to go to advanced, then select performance and need to choose settings. Then look in the list of things you will get remove the V infront of Fade or slide ToolTips into view. You can also check out in the registry entry:- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects\TooltipAnimation.
