"Running Autoupdate Installer script" hangs

I am having problem while installing Office 2008 SP1 update installer script hangs. It just stop during installation and display "Running Autoupdate Installer..." Is there anything that can i change?

You need to move that error message window and you will find the another window saying program can't find some file, You don't need to close that error window, just follow the step given in window and what ever it is saying to continue then install loads with no problem.

To resolve this issue, quit all Office for Mac applications and Microsoft Messenger for Mac before you install any Office 2008 updates.
