    Problems arising in Gotsent 2.0

I had installed gotsent 2.0 in my system. It is giving error when try to perform some action in the tool. I am getting a error message as an unplayable mp4. Then after that I am getting a green bar at the bottom of avchd in my PS3. The video resolution is also bad. It is not to extent what I want. Sometimes the video disappear. Only the audio comes out. Then I tried to stream by ps3 via windows media player server. No progress. I had update the active x also. I believe I will need to install the full application back. But before that please suggest some solution to the above queries.

I am too using the same application which you are using. But I did not have any error. I think there are some mistakes in setting done by you. As it a easy tool to stream video format of h264 or mkv to ps3 or xbox format. It also supports the reading of subtitles in h264 format. Do you know that a new feature is included in gotsent. It is the batch conversion folder of avi files to ps3 format. Just check weather you had properly installed all the filters and decoders required to work with it. You can also reinstall it back in case of further errors.

Before the solution below just make sure that you had fullfill all the requirements used to work with gotsent. Like ac3 filter, haali media splitter and if you have a ps3 then you must have the latest firmware version. If not then download them otherwise you can use the mentioned solutions. The reason behind error unplayable mp4 is that the mp4 box cannot pick up long file name and names which has - in the name. Try to rename the file with small names and encode them again. For the video thing some files resolution is different then as compare to the output which can be stretched to fill up the whole screen. Check out properly the encoding and the resolution of videos. They can be the cause behind it.

The green bar which you see at the bottom of avchd is because it needs a full encoding. Here your avchd requires fully encoded at a 720p/1080p resolution. In other words 1920x1080 or 12080x720. It there is a difference in size of vertical resolution then the green bar appears. The subtitle will also disappear from the menu. And when the horizontal resolution is off it will not display anything. To troubleshoot this problem re-encode properly the video to a h264 stream with the correct resolution. It usually copy my files in an external drive or memory disk instead of streaming it from media server. The problem arises when some configuration in the server cannot identify the mp4 formats or decode it.
