Hi,
We use Windows DRM and it works for the most part. On some clients' computers, they get this error:
C00D1059
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player does not support the format you are trying to play.
The latest client was using Windows Vista, but he also tried on a Windows XP machine and had trouble as well. He's also on satellite internet (which probably isn't relevant, but that has caused trouble with our RTMP protected stream).
He said when he checks the video's properties it shows as an AVI file, but is still named .wmv.
Opening in Windows Media Player and RealPlayer both give the same errors.
Any ideas?
I've already gotten him to check for updates to Windows Media Player, and is using the latest Service Pack on Windows Vista.
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated!
