Should I Reinstall Windows XP SP3

I recently bought up a computer & installed Windows XP Service Pack 2 & Office 2000. Then i Upgraded Internet Explorer from 6 to 7. Then i upgraded to SP3, I know that the SP3 installer scans your system beforehand to see what updates are required. So if I reinstalled SP3, would it detect that all the fixes?

No! you don't need to reinstall windows XP SP3 just switch on your internet & do the windows update...

It will definitely update the Windows Application you wanted. Only if the windows will be having the update to be done.

It is a free update for Windows XP. SP3 includes all previously released Windows XP updates, including security updates, hotfixes, and select out-of-band releases. To install SP3, either Windows XP Service Pack 1a (SP1a) or Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) must already be installed.

I would remove the weather thing and do a virus scan as well as a spyware/malware scan to see if that cleans it up. Do the Disk Defragmenter.
