How to remove ads in windows live messenger

Hi,
I am using windows live messenger 2009. I can see there are several advertisements on all messenger windows. It is so irritating while chatting or using any messenger functions. Anyone know how can i remove it? Please help!

I know its very annoying when you see ads on the messenger window. I have came across this thread on Remove ads from MSN messenger. I don't know it it works for windows live messenger. but you can just give a try. I hope it helps.

Try this:

Open Internet Explorer
Click on tools
Then click Internet Options
Go to Security Tab
Click on Restricted Sites
Then click sites
Add 'http://rad.msn.com' in the box
Click on Add
Then Click Close and OK

You can use Live Advert Remover. This works on all versions of live messenger. Live advert remover will not remove the default Live messenger, but it will never replaced by any other ads.
