    Problem with ati2dvag.dll

    Hello friends,

    When starting the PC after a hibernation, I have a blue screen telling me that there is a problem with ATI2DVAG.DLL with a memory address. How can I solve this problem?

    Specs:
    WIN XP SP3
    CORE 2 QUAD Q9300
    3 GB RAM
    ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series

    Here is the solution to your indefinite loop problem.I hope it works for you.
    • Right click on My Computer
    • Choose Properties
    • Choose the Hardware(Tab)
    • Choose Device Manager(button)
    • Click the [+] next to System devices
    • Right click on CPU to AGP Controller
    • Choose the Update Driver(button)
    • Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)
    • Choose Next(button)
    • Select "Don't search". I will choose the driver to install.
    • Choose Next(button)
    • Select PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge
    • Hit Next(button)
    • Hit Finish(button)
    • Reboot.

    Go to http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html
    Click on your OS (Windows XP, 2000, etc), then click on "Graphic Driver," then locate which ATI product you are using. Download. Install. Reboot.

    Complete remove all ATI software from your system. If necessary use the ATI removal tool available from their website. Reinstall all software using the provided installation disk and then update the drivers and any other files using the ATI website.

    Other potential measures, though not always ideal, include the removal of the ATI control panel. You should also ensure that you have the latest Windows updates and security releases on your computer and you might also consider running antispyware and antivirus scans to be on the safe side.
