    Hi,
When i try to login to windows live messenger, i get an error saying "msnmsgr.exe - Application error, The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application." How to solve this problem?

If you are using Sony Vaio, then remove the SonicStage Mastering Studio Audio Filter from Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, this error will be resolved.

Try to uninstall and reinstall it. The reason you are getting this error message may be originally due to MSN Messenger files being corrupted, then when you tried to uninstall it may have actually been successful but the program was still set to load and run in the background when you start your system. It is likely that you see that msnmsgr.exe-application error when you first boot up your computer as the startup programs are loading.

Disable messenger from starting with boot-up windows start and stop the auto log on as well. Click on Start Button => Click Run=>Type msconfig in the box => Press Enter=> Go to Startup Tab =>Unckeck the box for windows live messenger. Uninstall Windows Live Messenger beta and install the full version.
