Problems with POP3 GMX mail account

I've since become a problem with the retrieve e-mails from GMX!

I have not changed. Also, I have already considered whether anything has adjusted!

Incoming server: pop.gmx.net
Outgoing Server: smtp.gmx.net

I have already tried with mail.gmx.net.

During the account creation under "other settings"> I have the Ranger "Outgoing Server" the hook for "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"

The e-mail me, I prefer using Outlook 2007 on my computer.

What antivirus are you running? Try disabling your email protection
temporarily.

I have Norton 2002.

I have tried disabling Norton protection still no success, still believe that gmx
have changed their settings and that is the problem.

Delete accounts disabled Norton 2002 email protection. reinstalled email accounts switched on Norton email protection and everything works.
