Photoshop Premiere Elements vs. Roxio Creator 2009

I have been doing DVD productions of photos (not video) and music via videowave on Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 and was planning to get the newer Roxio Creator 2009. I also have Photoshop Elements 5.0 and in looking to upgrade to 7.0 I was checking out Photoshop Premiere Elements 7.0, which evidently does the same thing as Roxio Creator 2009? Can anyone guide me to what might be more suitable for my needs? I may get into videos too, but not right now. And as you can see by my username....easy is good! Thanks

hi my brother is using Roxio Creator for creating Create custom DVDs and he did not find any difficulty ,the software is user friendly and about Photoshop Premiere Elements i never tried that.

Well, I think Roxio Creator 2009 is more suitable for DVD production because you can create fun movies from your photos and videos automatically. Just pick the clips and pictures you want to use, select a theme and music, and let Creator assemble and produce a finished movie in minutes.

I highly recommend the Roxio Creator 2009 if you have a lot of media needs and not a lot of time to spend on each project.
If you mainly want to concentrate on photo editing, scrapbooking and sharing, Adobe Photoshop Elements is the software program for you.
