Since you're using Windows Live Mail, you need to contact their support team. Here's how:

    1. Go to https://support.live.com/eform.aspx?...top&ct=eformts
    2. Click on any topics on the left panel, then wait for the page to load completely.
    3. Click "Get more help" on the lower right corner of the page, then click on "Get support."

    1) remov windows live messenger and sign in assistant from computer
    2) restore the default settings on your firewall (control panel -> network connections -> right click then properties -> advanced -> settings -> advanced -> restore defaults
    3) at this point you will be unable to access the internet, which is where you would perform a "system restore"
    4) in order to do a system restore, go to accessories, then system tools. set your date, to the day before the current day.(or closest date to the current date)
    5. Your computer will reset and you will go through the restoration process.

try to uninstall and reinstall but to no avail. Somehow if you upgrade it to the latest version so the problem will solved.

    1. Uninstall everything related to WLM from Control Panel
    2. Download an old version from sites (if you are afraid of virus, try downloading it from Microsoft if it is still available)
    3.install it
    4. upgrade it done

Re: Windows live mail 2009 problem

    Hi Everyone:

I have installed Windows live recently, I had problem with logging in but I figured out that it was the firewall blocking.

another problem has come up. I have 3 account with windows live mail. my OS is WinXP, and I have mobile internet with "3". I had been working with no problems at all!

Now My internet works very well without Windows Live mail open, but when I log in, it disconnect my internet, so I have to re-connect several times, so when I decide to close Windows Live mail, then my works again with no problem! even windows live messenger doesn't give that problem.

I have checked windows essential, uninstalled and re-installed the whole package but It won't work.

    any idea?

    thanks in advance!
