I have been using Outlook 2003. Outlook starts up then suddenly windows shuts it down with a message that it has found a problem and needs to shut down. I have tried by reinstalling. what can be the cause of this prob?

Have you receives an Error Message or Are Unable to start Outlook Express ? see this help http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=245419 hope it will help you.

have you tried in safe mod? uninstall and clean the registry values using CCleaner the reinstall. scan your system with good ant-virus .

Run the following command :
Substitute the correct folder name for your system."C:\Program Files\MS Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" /safe
This command runs Outlook without add-ons. If it works OK now, there's some add-on interfering. Find out which one and disable it.
