Firefox 3 taking 25 seconds to start

    Hello,
I changed many settings in Mozilla Firefox, then came back back. But since version 3, I believe, my preferred browser is not taking less than 25 seconds to get started! IE7 does not put so much! I have a lot of videos on the bookmark. Is there a relationship with the delay? And this is much better to open the messaging Orange. Thank you in advance if you can enlighten me towards something

Trying disabling session restore, I was strugling with the same problem, now it seems to be fixed.

In Firefox's address bar, type in about:config and then hit enter
    Enter browser.sessionstore.enabled and click OK
Change to false and then click OK

When you restart Firefox, session restore (and undo close tab) will be disabled and you should notice an improvement in browsing speed.

    Thank you for your reply
Do I understand that there should be a Firefox add-on to include videos in the bookmark?
Because I like that ... out of which fifteen of them are functioning normally. I find it hard to grasp!

if you have a fifteen extension and theme is normal than firefox makes time to load. (the more you put in, the more heavy )
Try Firefox in safe mode (not blank). If FF is faster, consider a clean profile or even creating a new profile.

Try going into about:config and creating the integer browser.bookmarks.livemark_refresh_seconds and set it to 1800 seconds. It seems to work for a lot of people.
