Pantech Vega Iron 2 should be the first Snapdragon 805 smartphone launched on the market. Unsurprisingly its endowment looks flattering.

It seems that the Snapdragon 805 platform with emphasis on the Ultra HD 4K, announced in late 2013 by Qualcomm, will begin its career with the Pantech Vega Iron 2. Also known through its various variants M-A910D, M-A910L, M-A910K and M-A910S, Korean smartphone should in fact be the first Snapdragon 805 model to be formalized. It thus benefits from a quad-core Krait 450 2.5 GHz processor, 2 GB RAM and an Adreno 420 graphics solution.

It also evokes a 5.5 inch screen of Full HD (1920 x definition 1080 pixels), a 4G/LTE carrier, a digital camera of 13 megapixels at front, a 3 megapixel webcam at rear, flash memory of 32 or 64 GB and Lithium-Ion 2 800 mAh battery. For future flagship, we finally expected and quite logically could find the Android 4.4 KitKat environment or at least Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. No details have filtered about it for now.

Pantech Vega Iron 2

Just like its predecessor, Vega Iron, first name that appeared as a runners up for the Galaxy S4, the Vega Iron 2 should compete with the flagship smartphone of Samsung Galaxy S5 unveiled at MWC 2014 and expected during April. It also found its match with the qHD version of the Oppo Find 7 which should be based on the same Snapdragon 805 platform, which seems to be equipped with a camera of 50 megapixels and is expected on March 19th.
