Have Victoria 2 game developers considered to add minutes/hour?

I am just wondering that if the developers of the Victoria 2 game have considered added minutes/hour or both? I think that the timeline is very short and it would have been of more fun if it can run by hours and after that the day gets ended. I found that after 1936,the game get slows down if you edit that within the defines.

If they make that in minutes then I don’t think game will seem to come to end. HOI3 is made in hours and I think that it is taking a very long time.

I think that this is normal as the victoria 2 running over 100 years and this is very much longer as compared to the HoI series throughout the time period mechanization as well as the mass production. All the things are not as dynamic as it began around ww2 period. This is the reason that I think there is no need to have the hourly system. Regarding the slowing down, is there someone who have noticed that recent SSDs tried comparing gameplay speed subsequent to 1900s to regular hdd?

I am playing the Victoria 2 on an SSD and I found that the recent patch really looks to have sped things up and this is particularly in regard to their memory leak problem. Because of that, I have to save and restart the game after every 1 or 2 hours.
