Is there SLI support in Trine 2?

Well I am having SLI'd GTX260 graphic card. I wanted to know how this particular game Trine 2 will support for SLI? So far there is no useful information available on the official site. Let me know if you are having any idea on the same.

After going through the post of yours I wanted to tell you that SLI will work fine. With this particular video game. you have to set up AFR1 or AFR2 SLI mode by using the drivers before the releasing of the SLI profile from Nvidia. If my guess is not wrong Trine 2 is running at really high settings and you will be able to play the game with very high SSAA modes.

Using SSAA you will have improved image quality while playing the game. it will be useful to rectify the sub-pixel errors by simply rendering the extra detail per pixel of the screen data. Also you will be able to do the downscaling of the image back according to users desired resolution. MSAA can be the counterpart of the FXAA. However the Frozenbyte MSAA is seems to be unsuitable for the Trine 2 because of the rendering method implemented in the game. be sure that you are using the advanced GPU.

Well I wanted to tell you that this particular game is running fine with AFR1. By using the same I am getting 100 FPS with the highest settings. Single card is working with 99% gpu. Both SLI and card is running at 70%.. Vsync is enabled and now I am getting 45-50 fps but I am not able to mange 60 fps even there is higher GPU usage?

After going through the post of yours I wanted to tell you that you should lower the graphics settings and see whether you are getting 45-50 FPS.
Another thing which you should see that the FPS meter is working properly. If there is you can edit the same by moving to the %APPDATA%\Trine2\options.txt location and you have to go for ShowFPS and set the same as True rather than that of the False.

Do you having the higher utilization of the AFR2? If so there will not be any issue until and unless you have enabled the input lag reduction in the game. also there could be overheating of the GPU. SO you have to check the same.

By using Very High Detail as well as Extreme AA I have managed to reach 55fps. For try I wanted to tell you that you should install NVIDIA Update with the drivers. You can install the updates by using following steps.
    • First of all you should launch the Nvidia Control Panel.
    • You have to click on the Help and click on Updates and after that click on the Check For Updates...
    • Make sure that the SLI updates setting is checked on Preferences tab. If it is not checked than you have to do re check the same and see whether it is working or not.
