Which race are you choosing at first in The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim?

guys I would like to know from you guys, which race are you choosing at first within this game. There is an extremely good chance we all didn't choose the race we wanted to pick earlier than we had Skyrim in our hands, so at the moment I'm interested within what race did people actually pick in favor of their first Skyrim character? When people think warriors, they think Nords and Orcs, which always surprised me. Redguards are a fantastic race for warriors, and they've got a bit of affinity for magic as well (+5 bonus to Destruction). That said, I'm astonished at how Adrenaline Rush was neutered and Berserker Rage was massively boosted. They're still a good race, but I just shook my head in amazement when I saw that.

primary character picked was imperial, however seeing as his race powers weren't helpful to my playstyle I changed to Nord, who has the Battlecry power which is able to often acquire you out of a jam. Tbh, the way I made them, there was zero aesthetic dissimilarity among the two anyhow.
