Animations in Supreme Ruler Cold War

So far, in SR games. We only see men moving without moving their legs. And the two unit meet only results in a lot of boo sounds. The resources required aren't really justified for the scale of the game. My question is, this time, do we have unit animations? Like the tank will roll and fire? Maybe we can reduce the no. of models but adding in animations. Just like HOI, maybe? What’s your opinion on this?

I and many other strategy players really hate worthless and redundant graphics - especially during the remainder ALWAYS power calculation of the important things - like the calculations of battle, etc. The fact is that every game that has tried to play it bold is not conducive to stability and speed - that are obviously more interesting. I bet you can play SRCW on somewhat that just the direct necessitates or direct x9c x 10, so the graphics card 4 years old, would maybe be sufficient.

I am a big fan of good graphics and animations look very soft and good. They often refuse to buy games that have poor graphics, no matter what. However, this game really does not see much of a need for improvement in the graphics, because the AI and the interface is so vastly more important to make the game fun. In any case, use the processing power of graphics cards by the end of AI.

People who are on this forum are die hard and usually only tell you what the fans want. If you are trying to appeal beyond a narrow base, the graphics do not matter. People play games because they want to be entertained and immersed ... if the game looks like something out of the 90's, is not going to appeal to people who are not recalcitrant. The graphics and play are not mutually exclusive but are synergistic. Once you meet a certain threshold, the game is more important than graphics, but SR has not yet reached that threshold.

Do not forget, goats are not EA / Activision where millions of pounds / dollars / yen / etc are readily available, or are capable of pulling the animators, programmers, designers, etc in a dozen other projects. Goats are a small business battle with limited resources, therefore, has to use resources as efficiently as possible. One of the biggest complaints I keep seeing the games are poor AI and implementations of functions and a lot of titles, this is because the editors and programming teams to worry about how games are more your operation

It is clear that the graphics are pretty good right now; we do not have Direct X 11 graphics civilization if they are sharing AI, unless they can balance the two perfectly. Clearly you do not have knowledge that a very small team of less than a dozen developers are working on a large scale game, where do you think should concentrate its resources? Your choice ... For some animations take a lot of time to do, I am a software developer and have dealt with the animations in the past, and are not easy.

First then the market base for the next title, as well as the above have always been stable, but close. That way one company a homogeneous market share and can push the boundaries within the concept. In this closely resembles most titles Paradox. This is not a game where you play and quick battles in an environment rich in graphics, but is that the immersion and realism is much more important, this is your market and sales base.
