Worms Armageddon: unable to connect Wormnet

I am having an issue with this particular game Worms Armageddon. Well I have updated the game with the version 3.6.28.0. when I have joined the Wormnet and tried to hosting the game using HostingBuddy. It was prompting that the version is quite old. So I have downloaded and installed the new update 3.6.31.0 and simply installed the same. I tried to joined the wormnet once again there was no difference in the situation. Let me know if you are having any idea to fix the matter would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

If you are getting the error message on the screen which is stating that you have banned for the connecting the you need to simply check the green text message which is located at the bottom of the screen. This particular thing is mainly happening when someone in the network or someone who is having the IP address of yours and also open proxy on the computer. why because your IP address ahs been added into the blacklist. This is particularly doen to stop the flooders, spammers and griefers from connecting with WormNET by utilizing the public proxies.

In order to remove the IP address from the Blacklist you need to use DroneBL or EFnet RBL and simply submit the IP address. It would be automatically filled if you are already listed. You need to send simple add or remove request. Once you have removed the IP address from the blacklist you need to wait till Wormnet expires the ban which was on the IP address of yours. it might took around 12 hours for the same. Once there is an expiration of the ban you will be able to connect the Wormnet once again.

Well I have done little bit research work in this particular situation and I have seen the following thing which I am going to post over here. PeerGuardian might be the root cause of the problem. This particular thing PeerGuardian might be blocking the WormNET IP address. According to my research work you need to either disable or reconfigure the PeerGuardian and see whether there is any difference in the situation. I am hoping that it will help you out.

I am suspecting that the root cause of the problem might be either Firewall or security program which you have installed on the computer of yours. it might be causing the pop up in the screen when the computer of yours is attempting to connect. I recommend that you should try to reconfigure the firewall so that it can give an access to the Worms Armageddon to the internet which you are using. Make sure that you have configured the Firewall properly otherwise it can make the situation worse.

Well looking at the situation which you have provided over here this particular problem is being happening due to the misconfigured device on the network. Your computer might be sending the packet which might be larger than that of maximum transmission unit of the network node which is used to connect the host and the computer of yours. when this happens node will simply sent a ICMP packet to the computer of yours and your computer would simply reconfigure the fragment into the smaller segments. In this situation you need to contact the Internet Service Provider of yours for further assistance.
