The Saboteur game freezes while executing

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. I have installed The Saboteur game to the system. The problem is that the application is not able to function or execute well. It freezes when been tried to play. I have no idea what could be the issue? Please do help me out in order to make the game playable. Thank you.
