Re: Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath'

    Try the following steps :
    1. Start> Run (or Windows key + R)> type regedit> Ok
    2. In the tree, move to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Blizzard Entertainment \ Warcraft III
    3. Right click> Edit
    4. Put the path to III.exe Warcraft: C: \ Program Files \ Warcraft III \ Warcraft III.exe for example. It depends on where you installed it: it is for you to know.
    5. If you have installed The Frozen Throne, we must change the key ProgramX by putting the path to Frozen Throne.exe: C: \ Program Files \ Warcraft III \ Frozen Throne.exe example. It depends on where you installed it: it is for you to know.

Re: Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath'

Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath' :This error means that the registry key is missing or has incorrect data. There are two reasons why:
    1. You're on Windows XP and have installed the game in a different user account or operating system you're playing under. In this case, log on with another account and to patch the game.
2.. You moved your Warcraft III directory after installing the game. In this case, move back to where it was before and review. You can move the directory back to the new spot after patch.

Re: Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath'

I had installed warcraft on drive D: (Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III \ InstallPath') and find a solution on the web later something against something good but this is what I fix the problem follow these steps and not have to warcraft reinstallation and I hope that will be useful to you.

Open registry editor: Start> Run> regedit
Search for installation path: My Computer> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> software

    Create the first folder:
Right click on the "software" registry key (folder) and click:
New> Key> name to "Blizzard Entertainment"

    Create the second folder:

Right-click inside the "Blizzard Entertainment" registry key (folder) and click:
New> Key> name it "Warcraft III"

    Create the installation path:

Right click on the "Warcraft III" registry key (folder) and click:
New> String Value> Name it "installpath"

    Modify the installation path:
Right click on the "installpath" value chain, and then click:
Modify> Name is the directory on your computer that Warcraft III folder can be found.

You must add an additional \ together with all \ that gives the location of the directory. Apparently, a record of your state. Example: C:\Documents and Settings\flyerfye\Desktop\Warcraft III becomes C:\Documents and Settings\\flyerfye\\Desktop\\Warcraft III. Now OK everything and close the Registry Editor> Run Warcraft III> Connecting to Battle.net> To update and restart.
