Did you tried running the game in compatible mode which might be the issue behind the problem you are getting. Just open the game folder and find the .exe file of the game. Right click on the game and select the compatible mode with the operating system which you wanted to. Just try this out and let me know whether it is working for you or not.

There must be 12GB space on your drive with a Nvidia 6800 or higher graphic card. If you system does not has a graphic card then this might not work. Second thing if you are using a pirated version of the game then there is no guarantee weather it will work or not.

I think that you have downloaded the d3dx9_39.dll from some dll site and copied it, if so then remove it asap. Restart your computer and install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX and maybe upgrading to the latest version of DirectX will fix the d3dx9_39.dll error. You can also try to update your graphic card driver because updating the drivers for the video card in your computer could correct this DirectX issue. Whats your computer specifications by the way?

I think the setup file which you had downloaded from wherever is not proper. Usually pirated games are cracked version where there are lots of bugs in the game. They are not stable. Can you mention what is the exact error you are getting on your system. The pirated games from torrent has an activation process in them. This can be done via a keygen utility which is equipped with mailer. Better get rid of that and arrange for a fresh download.

I think that you have beend duped. Contact the person from whom you bought this game dvd and tell him to either replace the cd or get your money back. Usually, if it was a genuine copy of the game, then it should have included all the files in it, lets take an example of missing directx file itself.

What is your computer specifications? Does it meets with the game's minimum requirement or so? Do you get any error message while launching the game? Have you tried to apply any game patch to see if that works out for it or not.
