Is it possible for me to play gta games online

I'm running Windows Xp as my operating system. I used Dlink router in order to get connected to my internet connection. So, i would like to know that is it possible for me to play GTA games online. I had read somewhere in the article, but i'm not quite sure about it. So, can nay body tell me that is it possible for me to play GTA games online? Does any body knows about it? Kindly let me know your views on the above issue.
