Before uninstalling iTunes, you should save in a safe place all the music purchased from the iTunes Store or retrieved from your CDs and your playlists.
- In iTunes, click the File menu. Click Library and then click Save to Disk.
- Verify that Back up entire iTunes library and playlists "is selected.
- Insert a blank CD or DVD into your drive and click the Save button.
- Once the burn is complete, click OK. Your music and playlists will be saved. You can retrieve them easily with iTunes or any other media player software.
