I have heard this from one of my friend, I don't know if it is possible. Can we Release and/or Renew IP address directly from the GUI instead of going in command Prompt and running those commands.

Yeah it is possible to Release or Renew IP address directly from GUI instead from the Command Prompt option.
But for that you will have to run a software named WntIpcfg.
If you don't have it then you can surely download it from the Microsoft Website.

Hey they above given software is right, and it will work on all the versions of OS provided by Microsoft except Windows 7. So if you are using Windows 7 then too you can release or renew IP address directly from GUI through PE Network Configurator. It is avaibable in Windows PE and you have to run it as Administrator
