How to give Password to Html Page?

Hi friends, I want to know is there any facility through which we can give password to the file which we have made and make it inaccessible? I am making one project and don't want this code to be viewed by anyone other than my group members. That's why I need this, so no-one will open it and can't able to modify it. Some suggestions regarding this also welcome.

I don't think there would be any password protection possible to the HTML document. As far as my knowledge there could be possibility of password protection to the office document files as it provides you. But you can't make any html page inaccessible. You can do one thing and check. You just compress that file using winrar or winzip and then open it and give it password. So, this will solve your problem.

Hello, there was not such setting which will give your html file password protection. Yes you can use Winrar and Winzip to solve your problem. Just compress it and then give that rar or zip file password protection. Or do one think there are some third party applications which does same for you. You just need to use those such as, HTML Password Protect 1.3 or you can use
HTML Password Protector and do what you want.

Hi, I have read your question of protecting your html files with password and suggest you to use HTML Password Protector. As it will protect your HTML page. This tool is much more secure. It encodes your HTML page using your password. If you provide wrong password then results in incorrectly decoded HTML. It requires JavaScript 1.2. I have used it before and it is simple to use. You can use it.
