.mkv file in media player classic

Hi,
I have some files in .mkv format. There is media player classic installed on my computer. Can i play these files with media player classic? or i need something else? Anyone have any idea?

You need a codec pack to play such kind of files. i had ACE mega codec pack but its too old and broken. I have uninstalled this codec and installed K-Lite Codec Pack. and everything working file till now. I can play different formats with media player classic.

For .mkv files you can use another player. You can download VLC media player to play these files. This is very nice player which plays all kind of files. This is the best player for all formats.

You need codec for media player classic to play .mvk files. You can download this codec here. Just install the codec and media player classic will play all your .mvk files.
