How to make personal confidential folder

I want to save some data on my PC but that no one can access apart from me ? i want to make confidential personnel file on pc.

anyone know how to make that ?

To make your confidential personnel file with your user name, and located in C: \ Documents and Settings, done right click on it, then click "Properties." Then click on the "Sharing" and check "Make this folder private."

The Question is right but solution cant work for me... i want my personal folder but the solution given above is only when the folder is share in network then it is used .. did any one know make folder privetly no one can access but not used in network sharing just for personal used, not hide but when u open folder no one can access... if plz post here

Ya...Simple...Are all use same user name or different people logging as different user names..?
If all are use same user name u can do zip dat file and password protect.
if different people are use different user names u can same ur file n set NTFS permissions
