To start Windows XP in Safe Mode, you must press the F8 key when you start your computer, just after the beep system. For your convenience, you can display a menu that allows you to Launch Windows Xp in Safe Mode Directly From Boot menu.
Follow The Step
- Click Start > Setting
- Open the Control Panel and then double click the System icon.
- In the resulting window, open the Advanced tab
- Click the Settings button under Startup and Recovery.
- Click the Change button to customize the boot. The Notepad is opened.
- In the section [operating systems], copy the line already and then paste it in sequence, on a new line. Change the description of this line between the quotes for example,to Safe Mode, then add the following parameters to the suite / sos / bootlog. Do not touch the rest of the line.
- Click the File menu, click Save and close the notebook.
- From the next Boot of your computer, Boot menu lets you choose between a normal startup and safe mode. Use the arrow keys to select the start of your choice and press Enter.
