why reboot requires to upgrade of firefox 8?

when i want to upgrade a Firefox on my computer that time just want to reboot the system so the old did i have is 7 version and now i am going to upgrade a 8 version can anyone tell me why i requires to reboot please help on this?

i don't thing that you must be required to reboot your system when i have done this update actually that time i didn't ask for there reboot it just restart the system.

yeah some time you must be required to reboot that if you try update without it show you a message that your system must be required to restart for the Firefox update after that it will be work for the system that message that so did you required to restart now yes or no?

i think that you want to know that about the system restart. message did you get it is from the your system this is the system requirement not the Firefox requirement you must be know the exact problem that when that did they ask for the reboot so i thought that some problem in the boot system.

i upgrade many program in my computer but this is not all ask about reboot that will be never happen before some time it can be happen when your boot system get defect that time it can be happen.

yeah i just get the problem when i am trying to upgrade a Firefox 8 on my computer that i face the issue that consistently it is restart a computer. and whenever i try to run a Firefox that i was unable to run and it is directly get the restart message so i am also not able to understand what is the exact issue so it is about the system problem or some another issue?

oh thanks i don't required to reboot because i am having a Linux open SUSE 11.3 operating system so don't required to upgrade the version from the 7.0.1 to 8.0 so i am not having any issue for the update a new version

so i thought that this will be come from the Firefox. when i am try on the Appwiz.cpl to uninstall the Firefox on that also i am getting the same issue about the reboot that will be asking for the reboot and the message that which i am get clear that your computer must restart and all the previous upgrade of Firefox are completed so are you want reboot now? think that Firefox having the issue and that problem is not solved i don now that what is going on?

when i am using windows XP and i am trying to upgrade a windows 7.0.1 to 8.0 so don't know what the problem happen that i am unable to upgrade the new version and automatically restart the PC. when i am using the old version i working fine. so can know the problem.
