Need help with Morningstar Quotes for Firefox 5

I was basically using Firefox 4 which is a good browser as compared to others. This browser support all the add-ons as well as extensions and able to open most of the programs. Last night I thought of upgrading my browser to version 5. Then I upgraded it. After doing this I got a problem. Basically the quotes on the Morningstar site were not working. Thus I had to go back to my previous version of Firefox. But it still happened to download file. Also I didn’t find the previous versions of Firefox. Where are they located?

It would be good if you upload some screen shots so that it would be easier to know the problem and solve the problem. Anyways are you getting any pop-ups? If yes, then try selecting one of those with your cursor, or the one you typed. Even I had the same pop-ups with similar security symbols. Well but I cannot bring up the intended page with all the security information. I hope this helps you.

Well I am not sure about this but I think that it might be the problem due to JavaScript. First check if the bug is already reported. Be as precise as possible for describing how to reproduce. Well I don’t think so that the dev will monitor this forum but anyways you can try. Also you can try to post your reply to experts and I hope they solve your problem. If you get the solution then do reply here. May it help others?

I am using IE8and when I click the link, Fiddler sees four requests:

GET /switch.html?ticker=intu HTTP/1.1
GET /Quote/Quote.aspx?ticker=intu HTTP/1.1
GET /stock/s.aspx?t=intu HTTP/1.1
GET /tracking/abc.gif?parameters_omitted HTTP/1.1

In Firefox 5, I only see the last request. My debugging skills are not up to the task of figuring out where the script bombs. But you can try it.

For this sit Bugzilla needs its own registration. It is a sub forum here especially for web development issues. I think the bug is shown in Bugzilla website. You can see many complain are posted on their website. Various people are having various problems regarding it. I think you must post your query to Web development and I really hope that they will solve your problem. I hope this work for you.

Well I don’t have much idea about this but it think you should switch to another browser. Well you can also try to uninstall this new version and get back to the previous version. Well I am not sure whether this will work or not because I have never got such problems and thus I never tried it. You can take help from your friend who knows about this problem and he might help you. Hope this works. All the best.
